A Sheep on the Isle of Iona

That’s what it is. We were staying in Oban for a couple of days and decided to do a bus and boat tour with West Coast Tours. We really enjoyed the whole trip. From Oban we traveld to the Isle of Mull, then Iona and last but not least Staffa.

It was Iona, were I met my little friend here.

Iona is a small, fertile, crofting island, currently inhabited by around 130 people.

The island is farmed largely by traditional methods. The National Trust for Scotland works in partnership with its tenant farmers to ensure that rare species, such as the corncrake, are conserved.
